After the launch of the Vivo Y300 Pro 5G in China in September and the base variant Vivo Y300 5G in India, the manufacturer is now all set to release the latter smartphone in the home market with some variations from the Indian counterpart.
The Vivo Y300 5G handset has been officially listed on Vivo’s China website giving an insight into its design. The manufacturer has also put up a poster revealing the launch date.
Expected Specifications
The smartphone will flaunt an AMOLED 6.77-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2392, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a brightness rate of 5000 nits. There will also be an under-display fingerprint scanner under the display.

The Vivo Y300 5G will house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset with a 2.2 GHz clocking frequency under the hood. This handset will also encompass a dedicated Adreno 710 GPU. It will come with RAM options of 8 GB and 12 GB while the storage options are 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB. The smartphone will run on Android 14 topped with the manufacturer’s OriginOS 4.
One of the key highlights will be a Super Speaker system. The handset will have a dual-camera setup in a squircle island at the center on the top of the back panel.

The two snappers are a wide snapper with a 50 MP resolution and a depth snapper with a 2 MP resolution. On the front, there will be a wide 32 MP camera.
The smartphone will be powered by a fairly large 6,500 mAh battery with support for 80 W wired fast charging and wireless charging. The handset will be available in four colors of Black, White, Titanium, and Ocean Blue. It will be equipped with a wide range of connectivity options. The Vivo Y300 5G will be sized at 163.4 x 76.4 x 7.7 mm and have a weight of 194 g.
