Xiaomi is working on unveiling its Xiaomi 15 smartphone lineup and the Xiaomi Pad 7 tablet series.
As this date draws near, official renders of the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro have been leaked on the popular X platform.
Render Details of Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro
The renders on the post shared by tech blogger Kartikey Singh on the X platform share some interesting insights about the display and camera setup of both the smartphones.
As for the display, the smartphones will encompass a micro-quad-curved display with a second-generation Longjing Glass from the manufacturer. The vanilla model will have a display size of 6.36 inches with bezels of just 1.38 mm thickness. The handset is expected to give the Oppo Find X8 tough competition for slim bezels.

The handsets will house an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor making the flagships the first smartphones from the manufacturer. According to Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi, the camera island will feature a Deco design and a ceramic lens.
The 15 Pro will have a thickness of just 8.3 mm and a weight of 213 g. This will make the smartphone lighter than its predecessor Xiaomi 14 Pro by 10 g.
Price Increase for Xiaomi 15 Series
In a recent post on China-exclusive web platform Weibo, the company’s CEO Lei Jun has confirmed an increase in the price for the upcoming flagship series. He cites the increase in the cost of components as the reason for the price increase.
The CEO’s statement has been backed up by Lu Weibing. He states that one reason for the price hike is that the new processor is more expensive but delivers enhanced performance. According to him, the memory cost have also increased. While he does not explicitly mention the name of the smartphone, he is likely to be talking about the Vivo X200 when he talks about the smartphone with the Dimensity 9400 chip having a price hike of over 300 Yuan.
It is expected that the Xiaomi 15 series will also have a similar increase in price. The starting price is slated to be around 4,299 Yuan or USD 604. The unveiling of the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro will take place at 7:00 pm in China on October 29.
