Following the launch of the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro in China in October, the manufacturer is now working on the release of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in the lineup.
In the last couple of months, several details have been leaked about this top-end variant. A recent Weibo post that has now been deleted provides information about the battery details of the smartphone.
Normal Battery Capacity
According to the details leaked by Digital Chat Station in the post, the handset will have a battery capacity ranging from 5,450 mAh to 5,800 mAh. This is a small size considering the bigger 6,000 mAh capacity battery offered by the competitors in their smartphones.
Other Xiaomi 15 Ultra Specifications
In the camera department, the handset is said to have a main camera and two telephoto cameras on the rear panel. The main camera is slated to feature a resolution of 50 MP. One of the telephoto snappers is speculated to be a 50 MP camera with short-distance 2x zoom. The other telephoto shooter is anticipated to be a periscope-telephoto camera with a 200 MP resolution and 4.3x zoom.

It is reported that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be slightly curved at all corners. The smartphone is likely to have the same size, resolution, and refresh rate as its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Hence, it can be expected to feature a 6.73-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Earlier leaks indicate that the handset will come with Android 15 layered with the manufacturer’s HyperOS 2.0 and house a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor under the hood.
There is no confirmed information on when the manufacturer will launch the smartphone. Xiaomi may follow the trend of the 14 Ultra predecessor and launch the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in February 2025. However, the possibility of an earlier release in January cannot be ruled out.
