The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will soon join the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro in the lineup.

With several leaks piling up about the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, the smartphone is touted to be the most advanced smartphone from the manufacturer so far with major upgrades in performance and imaging. Official renders highlight the handset in a two-tone design with silver and back colors.

The smartphone will have an AMOLED LTPO micro-quad-curved 6.8-inch panel with a 2K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. There will be an in-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will comprise a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor from Qualcomm along with storage and RAM of up to 1 TB and 16 GB respectively. It will come with Android 15 topped with HyperOS 2.0 installed out of the box.

There will be four cameras on the back arranged in a circular module along with a LEICA branding. The main, telephoto, and ultra-wide snappers will each have a 50 MP resolution. The periscope telephoto camera will have a major enhancement with a 200 MP sensor supporting detailed long-range shots with 100x AI-enhanced zoom. The handset will have a 32 MP camera in the front for selfies and video calls.

The 15 Ultra will draw its juice from a 6000 mAh battery that supports both wired and wireless charging. It will offer 90 W wired charging and 50 W wired charging.

The brand has finally confirmed that it will host the Ultra launch event in China at 7 pm on the 27th of this month when it will unveil the smartphone.

This will be followed by a global launch on the 2nd of March after which the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will see the light of day in India on the 18th. CEO Lei Jun has already mentioned that the increasing component and development costs will lead to an increase in price over the predecessor.
