The upcoming Xiaomi 16 lineup will include the Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini along with the Xiaomi 16, 16 Pro, and 16 Ultra.
An earlier report highlighted the fact that the Pro Mini will house a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor from Qualcomm under its hood, like the other handsets in the series. This is now followed by another report that highlights some other specs of the compact smartphone.
Expected Key Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini Specs
The latest leak about the handset is through a Weibo post by the noteworthy tipster Digital Chat Station, whose predictions are almost always accurate. The post contains details about several other specifications.
In the camera department, the Pro Mini variant will have at least two cameras on its back panel. These are a large primary shooter and a periscope shooter. The other details of the snappers are not yet known at the moment.
The smartphone will have a 6.3-inch display with an OLED panel. It will incorporate LIPO technology. The resolution and refresh rate details remain unclear. There will also be an in-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

The handset will draw its juice from a fairly large 6,300 mAh battery. This battery will have support for wireless charging. If this is true, this could be the second-largest battery for a compact smartphone after the 6,500 mAh battery in the Vivo S30 Pro Mini.
The Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini will have ultra-narrow bezels on all sides and feature rounded corners. It will have a completely waterproofed design. It is anticipated that the handset will be launched along with the other smartphones in the lineup. If so, we can expect the compact offering to see the light of day in the home country in September this year.
