The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 has come up in the news quite a few times in the past.
Following this, the brand has now started letting out teasers about the smartphone, touted to be the brand’s first foldable for the year. Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 handset appears to be a small-sized foldable, according to the manufacturer’s marketing head Wei Siqi.
The latest Weibo post by Wei Siqi talks about the discussion that President Lu Weibing had with users, where the latter group shared the good points of the smartphone and areas where they hope to see an improvement. The post does not mention the name of the handset but refers to it by the codename Xiaozhejia.
Rumored Specs
One major highlight of the Mix Flip series is its functional cover display. The upcoming foldable will have the same cover screen of 4 inches that the brand used for the predecessor. However, this display will have a few modifications.

There will be a dedicated section that helps in the seamless running of the apps, while the remaining part of the screen is used for extra content. The inner display will have an OLED 6.85-inch panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1.5 K.
In the photography department, the Mix Flip 2 will have two cameras with a 50 MP resolution on the back panel. These include a main camera with support for OIS as well as an ultra-wide snapper.
Under the hood, the foldable will draw its power from a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor. The smartphone will run on the brand’s HyperOS 2.
The handset will draw its juice from a 5,100 mAh battery with support for 50 W wireless charging and 67 W wired charging.

The foldable will have a fingerprint sensor on the side, an IR blaster, and NFC support. In the folded state, the smartphone will have a thickness of 7.6 mm. It will weigh approximately 190 g. The upcoming handset will be lighter and thinner than its predecessor.
The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 will see the light of day towards the end of the month, along with the K80 Ultra and gaming tablet from Redmi.
