Xiaomi is actively working on the launch of its foldable, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2, as the successor to the Mix Flip.
Although the manufacturer will host a separate launch event for the smartphone, it is expected to be released along with the gaming tablet and K80 Extreme Edition from Redmi. A new leak has now surfaced sharing details about the processor, cameras, and design of the handset.
Processor and Design
The most recent leak appears in the form of a Weibo post by noteworthy tipster Digital Chat Station. While the post does not mention the name of the smartphone, it mentions the term folding phone, which makes it obvious that the details are of the Mix Flip 2.

The foldable will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor under its hood. The leak also indicates that the handset will be large in size but also thin and lightweight.
Other Rumored Mix Flip 2 Details
Earlier reports indicate that the smartphone will have an OLED display of 6.85 inches on the inside. This display will have a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1.5K. There will also be an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
On the back side, the Mix Flip 2 will have two cameras with a resolution of 50 MP for each shooter. One of them will be a main camera with OIS support whereas the other camera is an ultra-wide lens.
The handset will have an IPX8 resistant rating and incorporate NFC support and an IR blaster. It will have a weight of close to 190 g and be sized at 7.6 mm in the unfolded state.
The smartphone will draw its power from a 5,100 mAh battery with 50 W wireless charging support and 67 W wired charging support.
The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is speculated to have an imminent launch given the fact that the foldable has bagged its 3C certification in its home country. It is anticipated that the handset will see the light of day in China in June this year and have a global launch a month later in July 2025.
