The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 has found its way to the rumor arena. There have been quite a few tip-offs about the second-generation foldable in the past.

Along with this, the brand’s President and Group Partner Lu Weibing mentioned some key enhancements in the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2  smartphone. The latest leak by tipster The panda is very good now points out the processor, battery, and color details about the handset. Going by this post, the foldable will house a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

The handset will draw its juice from a fairly large 5,100 mAh battery with 67 W wired charging and wireless charging support. It will be available in four color choices of gold, cyan, black, and purple.

From the various sources of information gathered in the past, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 will have a 4.01-inch display on the outside and an LTPO AMOLED 6.85-inch display on the inside. Both displays are tuned for high responsiveness and brightness. The inner display will additionally have a 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. There will also be a fingerprint scanner inside the screen.

The foldable will have two cameras with Leica branding and a 50 MP resolution with Leica branding. The battery will support 50 W wireless charging. The smartphone will come with Android 15 topped with HyperOS 2.0 out of the box.

The handset will have an IPX8 rating that makes it extremely resistant to water. Its thickness is about 7.6 mm in the unfolded state and it will weigh nearly 190 g. The foldable’s design makes it thinner and lighter than its predecessor. The handset will come with an IR blaster and offer NFC support.

The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 will break cover in China on the 26th of this month, along with the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro and Redmi’s K80 Ultra and K Pad. The global launch will take place in July.
