The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 has been in the news on and off with several details about the foldable from the brand.
The latest leak now focuses on the battery details and launch date of the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 smartphone.
Expected Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Battery Details
Going by the post on Weibo by Digital Chat Station, the smartphone will house a battery with a rated capacity of 5050 mAh. The typical battery capacity will be 5100 mAh. The figures indicate that this is the largest battery in a foldable although an earlier leak suggested a 5,600 mAh battery. The battery will offer support for 50 W wireless charging, a feature that was lacking in the Mix Flip.

The handset is slated to have many prominent upgrades over its predecessor.
The Mix Flip 2 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which gives the smartphone the credit of being the first foldable to house this processor.
There will be two cameras on the back with two 50 MP cameras. The primary snapper will support optical image stabilization while the ultra-wide lens will take the place of the telephoto lens of the Mix Flip.
The handset will have a foldable OLED panel of 6.85 inches. The display will have a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution.
The Mix Flip 2 will also feature a thickness of just 7.6 mm, a fingerprint sensor on the side, and NFC support.

The above leak additionally points out that there will be an improvement to the crease at the folding point, a change to the shape of the outer display, and several female-oriented customizations.
In response to a comment to the above leak, the tipster hints that the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 will break cover in the second quarter of 2025. Although there is anticipation of a global release, details about the same are not known at the moment.
