The ZTE Axon 40 with the A2023BH model number was spotted at the CMIIT authority earlier this month. This model has been spotted at other places such as 3C and Geekbench.
Now, the handset has bagged approval from the TENAA authority of China. As usual, the certification has revealed the key specifications and images of the Axon 40.
ZTE Axon 40 (A2023BH) Specifications
The ZTE Axon 40 has a 6.67-inch OLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen is integrated with a fingerprint sensor. The centrally aligned punch-hole available on the screen houses a 44-megapixel front-facing camera.
The rear shell of the Axon 40 has a triple camera unit, which is headlined by a 64-megapixel. The main sensor is accompanied by an 8-megapixel lens, which could be an ultrawide camera, and a 5-megapixel depth/macro camera.

The device is powered by a 3.2GHz octa-core processor. It can be said based on its Geekbench appearance that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 mobile platform. The TENAA listing further reveals that the device may come with 6GB / 8GB / 12GB / 16GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB / 512GB / 1TB of built-in storage.
The Axon 40 is packed with a 5,000mAh battery. The 3C certification of the device has revealed that it will carry support for 66W fast charging. The device is likely to come preinstalled with Android 12 OS. It measures 163.37 x 75.88 x 8.56mm and weighs 199.9 grams.

ZTE’s brand Red Magic recently unveiled the Red Magic 7 series of gaming smartphones in China and global markets. Soon, its sub-brand Nubia will be announcing the Nubia Z40 Pro. It is likely that the Nubia flagship may debut in March. Probably, the Axon 40 may break in the coming month.
