The Lenovo Miix 320 hybrid tablet is the latest member to join the gradually expanding 2-in-1 tablet market and if all goes according to plan, the tablet should be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona in a couple of weeks.

The Chinese OEM has already confirmed that it will be attending the MWC 2017 event. However, many are only anticipating the release or rather launch of the Moto G5 and G5 Plus phones. But as it seems, the company has something else in store in the shape of the Lenovo Miix 320 2-in-1 PC. As usual, this type of device will sport a detachable keyboard dock, but Lenovo wants to make this device as affordable as possible to the masses.

As expected, the buyers of Lenovo Miix 320 will be supplied with a keyboard dock, but there is a new design language with this upcoming model when compared to its predecessors. However, the company tries to keep the device as simple as possible with respect to detaching and re-mounting it whenever needed. The speakers have been relocated to the bottom edge of the front panel to ensure that quality sound is the order of the day.

In terms of specs, the Lenovo Miix 320 hybrid tablet will ship with Intel’s Atom X5-Z8350 processor that has four fast cores clocked at a speed of 1.44GHz but can be accelerated to 1.92GHz. The entry-level model will ship with a RAM of 2GB and 64GB SSD storage while the high-end variant will come in with 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD storage.

In terms of display size, there is a 10.1-inch panel for you and it will be offered in a resolution of either 1920 x 1080 pixels or 1280 x 800 pixels. The cameras are not the best, but they should get the job done. The back has a 5MP shooter while the front will ship with a 2MP snapper. Features such as Bluetooth 4.2, Gigabit WLAN, LTE connectivity, microSD card slot, USB Type C as well as support for USB 3.0 and microHDMI outputs are all present. But the keyboard dock comes with a USB 2.0 port and weighs about 550g.

As at the time of this writing, the Lenovo Miix 320 hybrid has already been listed on some U.S. outlets, with the low-end 2GB RAM/64GB SSD storage variant priced at 229.99. The tablet is powered by Windows 10 Home.
