The official pricing for the 2017 Nissan Titan single cab and the Titan XD was revealed by the auto brand.

While the base variants don’t support all-wheel drive, buyers have the option to upgrade their car to four-wheel drive which will increase the overall pricing by $2,880. The same upgrade for the XD variant costs $3,990. The powertrain is rather good on the new 2017 Nissan Titan models. The wagon uses a 5.6-liter direct injected V8 engine which is capable of delivering up to 390 horsepower. Apart from this one, there is a speculation that Nissan will add a V-6 engine to the lineup in the near future. The Titan XD will receive a 5.0-liter V8 turbodiesel edition capable of rendering up to 310 horsepower coupled with 555 lb feet of torque.

The powertrain will be mated to a six speed automatic transmission system which is designed and manufactured by the brand named Aisin. This particular gearbox will be used only for the diesel engine variant and not with other models. When it comes to Titan single cabs, it’s all about storage efficiency, space and durability of a robust product. The revamped versions will be more than capable of offering them all and more so as to keep buyers within their brand’s ecosystem.

In their technical description, Nissan confirmed that the single cab Titan and the XD variant will use a large eight-foot bed. It will be of the same size in both the S and the SV trimlines. Other features are quite limited in these models as they are designed to offer best off-road performance, torque and durability. Comfort level won’t be high on these cabs but they do have rearview camera and bluetooth connectivity on both models. It makes it easy to park and drive it in other tight spots. The 2017 Nissan Titan XD single cab is capable of pulling up to 12,620 pounds with the right accessories attached to it.

Nissan will produce the single cab and the XD models in their Mississippi facility. They are already available for purchase in dealership stores. People who already have the wagon as their primary vehicle may choose to upgrade to make use of the increased towing capability and the additional features but it is not a mandatory choice to go for if yours is new. You can probably wait for Nissan’s upgraded version or the 2018 edition next year.
