HTC U12 Life

HTC U12 Life is an upcoming smartphone from HTC. It will be arriving as a stripped-down version of the HTC U12+ flagship phone that was unveiled few months ago.

The Taiwanese tech giant has recently confirmed that it will be holding an unveil event on August 30. Rumors are rife that the company would be announcing the U12 Life smartphone. Today, a new HTC phone labelled as “HTC 2Q6E1” has surfaced on Geekbench to reveal some of its key specifications.

The listing of HTC 2Q6E1 on Geekbench reveals that it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and it is powered by Snapdragon 660 and 4 GB of RAM. Multiple leaks have revealed that the upcoming U12 Life will be fueled by Snapdragon 636. The single-core of 1343 of the smartphone is lower than the usual single-core score of other Snapdragon 660 chipset powered smartphones. Hence, it appears that the benchmarking platform may have incorrectly detected the name of the chipset that powers the HTC U12 Life. In the multi-core test, the handset has recorded a score of 4897 points.

Rumors have it that the HTC U12 Life will be arriving with an 18:9 aspect ratio supporting display. It will include an internal storage of 64 GB. The handset is expected to arrive with dual-LED flash enabled 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera. For shooting selfies, it will be equipped with a front-facing shooter of 13-megapixel with LED flash. It is rumored to be fueled by 3,600 mAh battery.
