Alleged Vivo X200 (V2415) Gets CCC Certification; Vivo Y36c (V2357A) Launched in China

Chinese manufacturer Vivo is working on a wide range of smartphones. Some of them have received several certifications while some others have been spotted on various databases indicating their imminent launches.

A Vivo smartphone associated with the model number V2415A recently won the approval of the China-based radio certification platform. The same handset has also been approved by the country’s 3C certification platform hinting that it could be launched soon. It is possible that the smartphone could be one of the Vivo X200 series of handsets.

According to the 3C certification listing, the forthcoming Vivo V2415A will be accompanied by a V9082L0A1-CN/ V9082L0E1-CN charger with support of up to 90W charging. This fast charging support could make the Vivo X200 handset a flagship smartphone.

Interestingly, the IMEI database recently highlighted a Vivo V2415 listing without the A suffix. The listing also hinted that the model belonged to the Vivo X200 series. The V2415 will likely be the global variant and the V2415A is slated to be for the Chinese market. More details of the V2415A can be expected in the coming days.

According to reports, the Vivo X200 series will comprise at least three smartphones, namely, Vivo X200, Vivo X200+ and Vivo X200 Pro. All three of them are expected to be launched in the third week of October with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip.

Vivo Y36c (V2357A)

The Vivo Y36 series comprising the Y36, Y36m, and Y36i are already available in the Chinese market. The manufacturer has now added a new smartphone, Y36c, to this series. This handset has been launched silently in the Chinese market today.

Earlier, we found this device getting listed on Geekbench and on Google Play Console with the model number V2357A. It was also found recently with the same model number on the 3C certification platform with support for 15W fast charging. This smartphone has been launched in the affordable 5G segment.

As confirmed in the Google Play Console listing, the Vivo Y36c handset comes with the SoC codename MediaTek MT6853T indicating a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset and a Mali G57 GPU. It has eight cores clocking at 2 GHz and features Android 14 OS and 6 GB RAM along with 320 DPI and 720 x 1612 resolution.
