With Sony Xperia Z5 starting to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update this week, Sony Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 Tablet are also not going to be left out.
Both released in 2015’s first half, Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 Tablet rolled out running on Android 5.0 Lollipop. Sony Mobile has revealed pushing the recently much-talked-about Android Marshmallow update to these two devices despite earlier reports claiming that the devices were not going to be upgraded.

With no further details, Xperia Blog has revealed that the LTE (SGP771) and Wi-Fi –only (SGP712) versions of the Z4 Tablet would receive the Android M update. Talking of the Xperia Z3+, only the single SIM variant of the model is expected to receive the update. Details of the Marshmallow update hitting the dual SIM variant of the Xperia Z3+ model are still not certain and clear, but reliable sources claim that the Xperia Z3+ Marshmallow update might hit this device at a later date.
Sony Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 tablet not available on any U.S carrier
Despite Sony Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 tablet officially selling in the United States, only the unlocked variants are available in the market through various retailers like Amazon and BestBuy. In essence, no Z3+ and Z4 Tablet are available on any carrier in the U.S.
There are currently a number of latest devices in the market with high-end specs and with excellent proven performance. Z4 Tablet and Z3+ are equally not bad performers. Having been on the market for close to a year will make you think that they are off-the-hook.
