Apple iPhone 7 Explodes, Just Like Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 – Which is Next?

Samsung Galaxy Note 7

Samsung has had the longest nightmare possible as it struggled to replace millions of Galaxy Note 7 units that had been recalled due to issues related to possible explosions.

Volumes of cases were recorded in the U.S. and other parts of the world, cases that resulted in the company issuing a warning that all units be returned for replacement. When this tragedy hit Samsung, many critics were of the view that Apple’s iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will have a better chance of thriving in the smartphone industry. Well, this was happening and in fact, the weighing scale was in Apple’s favor. But something rather bizarre has happened as an Apple iPhone 7 unit has exploded into flames, just like what the Galaxy Note 7 has been going through.

According to a Reddit user by the name kroopthesnoop, a matte black iPhone 7 Plus exploded while still in the box. According to BGR, the photos shared only involve an isolated incident and there is nothing so far to worry about. Samsung Galaxy Note 7 units exploded mainly when being charged, something that led to suggestions that there might be issues with the battery unit or system in general. But in the case of the Apple iPhone 7 Plus, it was still in transit. The user only received the phone when it had already been damaged.

For now, little is known about what really happened with the exploded iPhone 7 Plus. Apparently, something weird happened between shipping from the factory to the destination point. With the case still young, Apple has chosen to keep quite first, but a statement is expected anytime soon.

iPhone 7 Headphone Jack Users Reaction

The Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were unveiled at the beginning of last month and given their lesser appeal to the Apple fan base, this is something the company would never want to expand beyond this isolated incident.

Well, a lot has been said about Samsung copying Apple as far as the smartphone is concerned. However, this time, Apple could be nailing it with this explosion copycat for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus (pun intended). One thing that one wonders is that should other smartphone users get worried? Well, this being an isolated case, there is no need to panic or rather, it shouldn’t stop you from getting that new Xperia XZ or even OnePlus 3 handset, among others.
