ASUS ROG Phone 6 smartphones with ASUS_AI2201_A and ASUS_AI2201_B model numbers have been certified by the 3C authority of China. The appearance of the two model numbers indicate that the lineup will include at least two models.
These devices could be probably called the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro.
ASUS ROG Phone 6 Series 3C certified
The 3C certifications of the ASUS_AI2201_A and ASUS_AI2201_B devices show that they may come equipped with the same charger that has a model number of A320R-200325C-CN. The charger supports maximum charging speeds of up to 65W. It appears that the same 65W charger tvilhat accompanied the ROG Phone 5 series will be also made available with ROG Phone 6 series.
The 3C listing has no information available on the specifications of the both ROG Phone 6 series smartphones. Rumors are rife that the ROG Phone 6 lineup will come equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 mobile platform.
The ROG Phone 6 series is all set to debut on July 5 in multiple markets such as Taiwan, China, and New York. Now that the ROG Phone 6 series of smartphones have appeared at 3C, it is likely that these devices will soon appear with key specifications in the database of the TENAA certification platform.
Some unconfirmed reports have claimed that the ROG Phone 6 lineup will feature a 165Hz AMOLED display, a 6,000mAh battery, 64MP triple rear cameras, and a redesigned rear shell. Hopefully, more details of the ROG Phone 6 lineup will surface in the coming days before the official announcement.
