China-Only Samsung Galaxy C7 Ready to Go for $459 in the United States

The Samsung Galaxy C7 seemed like a device made only for China after it came out in the Asian country back in June.

However, it has just made its way to the B&H line-up with the seller listing the device on its website. The decision to launch this phone is quite surprising considering that it has been available for quite a while and Samsung has taken several months to launch the product. Furthermore, the launch happens to coincide with one of the toughest periods for Samsung as a mobile phone giant in the United States after pulling the plug on the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

The listing on the B&H site is only for the 64 GB variant with a single SIM slot. The website does not provide any details about the shipping terms of the device, while there are also no images as well. However, it does show that the Samsung Galaxy C7 will come in at a price of $459 in the United States.

In terms of specs, the Samsung Galaxy C7 is pretty much a straightforward mid-range smartphone with elements like the snapdragon 625 processor. However, a major attraction of the device would be the 5.7-inch screen with 1080p resolution. Of course, this is no display that would find its way into the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 or its successors, but it is brilliant that a phone is capable of offering such a large screen at a very attractive price range. Even though the processor does not come in from the snapdragon’s 800 range, which represent the ultimate in performance, there is 4 GB of RAM as standard on the device.

This follows an operating system to carry on without closing applications when there aretoo many running in the background. The phone is available in 32 GB and 64 GB internal memory options, but they can be expanded using microSD card slots. For a phone that is priced at just over $ 400, the Samsung Galaxy C7 comes with an impressive 16-megapixel camera in the front and an eight-megapixel camera in the rear. Since the phone has an extremely large 5.7-inch screen, one of the few ways of keeping it alive throughout the rest of the day is by having a large battery.

Samsung Galaxy C7 certainly takes care of this requirement by offering a 3300 mAh battery, which can also be charged quickly using Quick Charge 3.0.
