LG K3 2017

If you running on a tight budget and are in the market for a new phone, U.S. Cellular has the best deal you can think of right now.

Announced towards the end of 2016, the LG K3 2017 is now available on the carrier at just $19.99, down from the usual price of $89.99. This means you save yourself an impressive $70 while at the same time getting a solid device that shouldn’t have a problem getting you through normal day to day activities.

If you have zero problems with using U.S. Cellular, the LG K3 2017 might just be a one-of-a-kind deal for you – or probably your kid. By now, you should already know that the K3 2017 is a low-end device, especially since its original price is still under $100. As a result, don’t expect a lot of power from the phone, but at $20, it’s a great handset.

The LG K3 2017 packs a compact 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS LCD display screen that features a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, same as what has been touted for the upcoming Moto E4. Under the hood, the budget phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC clocked at 1.1GHz and is paired with a RAM of just 1GB while the storage is no more than 8GB, although you can expand it via a microSD card.

On the back of the LG K3 2017 is a 5MP camera that also comes with autofocus and an LED flash. On the front panel, you’ll come across a 2MP shooter that supports gesture shot and has a selfie light to ensure bright images are captured even when in the dark. Keeping the K3 2017 alive is a 2100mAh battery unit that is charged via a microUSB port and software-wise, there’s Android Marshmallow running the show.

Despite coming in at a mere $20, the LG K3 2017 also supports Wi-Fi and 4G LTE connectivity thanks to the SD210 SoC on board.
