When new phones start hitting the market, previous models start seeing unimaginable discounts. Usually, the LeEco Le Max 2 Pro goes for about $500, however, you can now grab the 2016 flagship for less than half the price, but this deal is limited to time.
If you fancy shopping on online retailer Geekbuying, there’s a clearance sale going on at the moment, but it has just six days left. Here, you can grab the LeEco Le Max 2 Pro at just $228.99. This is insane, especially when looking at what the phone brings to the table.
For starters, this Le Max 2 Pro handset is unlocked and labeled as “EU Version.” Being a 2016 flagship or rather flagship killer, the phone has premium specs and features on board. The first thing you’ll notice about the phone is the beautiful all-metal frame that houses a massive 5.7-inch display screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (QHD) and pixel density of 515ppi.
Under the hood, the Le Max 2 Pro ships with the best smartphone chipset from 2016 – a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC. This is then paired with a RAM of 6GB and for the storage, you get a decent 64GB module, but this cannot be expanded. In terms of optics, the Le Max 2 Pro has a huge 21MP shooter on the back. This Sony IMX230 sensor has an f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, dual color temperature flash and support for 4K video recording. As for the front, you get an 8MP lens with a smaller f/2.2 aperture and support for 1080p video recording.
Just below the main camera is an ultrasonic metal fingerprint scanner for authentication purposes. Keeping the Le Max 2 Pro alive is a 3100mAh battery unit that supports fast charging technology via a USB-C port. For the software, you get Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, but the company should release an update to Nougat sooner or later.
Being an unlocked phone, the LeEco Le Max 2 Pro will work with both GSM and CDMA carriers, but it’s important that you confirm with your carrier if the phone is compatible with what it offers. The phone supports 4G LTE dual-SIM connectivity and other current standards.
