Vivo is expected to announce its upcoming Vivo X200 in the home market towards the middle of next month.
With less than a month to go before this official announcement, the company’s Product Manager for China, Han Boxiao shared a sample of the first shot captured using the camera of the handset. The main reason to do so is to highlight the abilities of the telephoto shooter.

Interestingly, noteworthy tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some interesting details about the rear camera setup on the popular Chinese Weibo platform.
Vivo X200 Telephoto Camera Sample Highlights
Going by what Boxiao has to say, the telephoto camera in the X200 has two noteworthy features. First, the telephoto lens has the capability to capture shots at night with 10x zoom. Second, it offers an insight into how a shot captured using the new moon mode will appear. Boxiao adds that the moon portrayed in the photo has been modified artistically.
Vivo X200 Camera Specifications
According to the details shared by the tipster, the three-camera setup will comprise a 50 MP Sony IMX921 shooter as the primary camera. This camera will have a 1/1.56-inch camera sensor and an f/1.57 aperture.

The smartphone will be paired with a 50 MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with 70 mm focal length and an f/2.57 aperture as well as a 50 MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens.
The leak also mentions the support of a 10x fusion super-resolution algorithm by the smartphone. This is likely to be the 10x hybrid zoom of the telephoto camera.
Other X200 Details
In response to a comment to the above leak, the tipster claims that the X200 will have a 6.78-inch display which is expected to be an OLED panel. The handset will be available with the upcoming Dimensity 9400 chipset under the hood. The smartphone is slated to be powered by a 5,800 mAh battery with 90 W rapid charging support. It is expected to come with Android 15 layered with the manufacturer’s OriginOS 5.

Earlier reports indicate that there will be three smartphones in the Vivo X200 series. The Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro with the D9400 processor are likely to launch next month while the Vivo X200 Ultra with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset is likely to arrive next year.
