During a recently organized event, Fortnite players stumbled upon an interesting revelation. They realized that Fortnite OG’s storyline, though quite similar to the game’s original version, had started deviating from events occurring in the past. The primary battle royale game mode of Fortnite is presently in Chapter 6 Season 3. A live event around this happened on August 2 at 2:30 PM ET.
Fortnite OG, as fans would know, happens to be a classic game mode which has offered fans the opportunity to revisit and experience the early days of the franchise.

Though some enhancements have been made to the mechanics of the game, players have the chance to have an experience of what the game looked like a few years back. Apart from pleasing older fans, the mode has proved to be extremely popular with those who have joined in recently. Both the section of gamers have cherished the experience of going through the original map of the game and its old loot pool.
On July 26, Epic Games rolled out the first live event of Fortnite OG. Many thought it would be designed similarly to the first live event of the game. Players, however, were in for a surprise. Through a recent post on X, VortexLoreFN shed light on the fact that a red butterfly flew its way into the rocket before its launch. Once the rocket launched, it led to the creation of a huge red rift in the sky.
Traditionally, rifts and butterflies in Fortnite have been blue.

Therefore, one could assume that a few things will happen a little differently in Fortnite OG this time around. Some are of the belief that there is a link between the red coloring and the demon portals in the primary mode of the game.
Through another post shared on X, Rezztro stated that the sign put up at the Lonely Lodge has been put aside by another red rift. A few players have also pointed out how the sound of the rift appears to be a little different from gamers are used to hearing.
