Samsung seems to be actively working on the Galaxy A26 and Galaxy A36 smartphones in the midrange A series of offerings by the manufacturer.
The handsets are expected to arrive as the successors to the A25 and A36 respectively. New leaks have come in with some noteworthy details about the renders and cameras of the two smartphones from different sources.
Galaxy A26 Renders
The report on Android Headlines mentions that the Galaxy A26 will have a flat display of close to 6.64 inches. The sides also appear to be flat although not of the same thickness. The overall size of the smartphone is expected to be 164 x 77.5 x 7.7 mm that makes it wider and taller but thinner than the earlier model.
The three snappers on the back panel will be grouped vertically in a common and slightly protruding camera island on the top left side. There will be a LED flash unit near the camera island. The key island on the right side will feature the power button and volume rocker.
The Galaxy A26 is likely to house the manufacturer’s Exynos 1280 chipset and one variant is slated to offer 6 GB RAM. It is expected that the smartphone will come with Android 15 out of the box.
Galaxy A36 Camera Specifications
Going by the latest camera leak of the Galaxy A36 by GalaxyClub, the smartphone is anticipated to have a 50 MP resolution for its primary snapper. The ultra-wide and macro sensors are expected to be the same as that of its predecessor Galaxy A35 which had an 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 5 MP macro lens. The renders leaked in the past show a redesigned camera module with the shooters encased in a single housing.
The Geekbench listing of the handset reveals that it will be equipped along with an octa-core processor that is speculated to be Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 along with 6 GB RAM. The Galaxy A36 will come with Android 15 preinstalled.
