The Galaxy S25 Edge was teased by Samsung at its Galaxy Unpacked event when it launched the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra a week ago on January 22nd.

Interestingly this is the same smartphone that was earlier known as Galaxy S25 Slim. A new leak has now surfaced giving an insight into the camera specifications of the handset.

Galaxy S25 Edge Rear

The Galaxy S25 Edge was earlier reported to have an improved camera setup over the base and Plus variants. The smartphone was also said to have three cameras on the back panel. However, the teaser dropped by the brand reveals that the handset will have only two cameras in a vertical setup.

There will be no telephoto shooter. The camera on the top is an ultra-wide shooter and the one below is a main camera. The ultra-wide shooter will likely support 3x zoom. Earlier reports hint that the main camera has a resolution of 200 MP.

The front-facing camera is slated to be the same 12 MP camera like other smartphones in the series.

Other Rumored S25 Edge Specs

Going by past reports, the S25 Edge will have a thickness of just 6.4 mm. However, it must be noted that this thickness will not make it the slimmest handset from the manufacturer as the Galaxy A8 released in 2015 was just 5.9 mm thick.

The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 processor under their hoods. It may have a display that matches the 6.7-inch panel of the Galaxy S24 FE. As the prototype highlighted at the Unpacked event lacked a display, there is no confirmation about the actual size of the screen.

The Galaxy S25 Slim has been reported to be launched by the manufacturer in April or June 2025. It is almost certain that the handset will mark its arrival much after February 7 when the launched Galaxy S25 lineup arrives on the shelves of retailers.
