Gionee is coming up with a new lineup, the Gionee A1 series, with many specs and images of the device being leaked recently.
There is currently no A series of the Gionee brand, so the Gionee A1 could be the first smartphone of a new series by the company, according to leaks.
Gionee is a China based smartphone manufacturer that first started making smartphones in the year 2001. It has its presence in several countries like India, Taiwan and Myanmar and also Vietnam and the Middle East. It has launched several budget devices in both the low segment and the middle range sector. Recently, the company revealed its Gionee M2017 coming with two batteries of 3500 mAh. The huge battery on the phone was one of the major features.
A few specifications have also been leaked regarding the reported Gionee A1 smartphone. It is to have a Full HD screen display of 5.5 inches with a resolution of 1080 pixels, 2.5D. The screen will also come with protection from Gorilla Glass. It will be powered by a RAM of 4 GG and will run on a 1.8 GHz, octa core processor. The internal storage is rumored to be 64 GB, which can be expanded to 128 GB with the use of a microSD card.
Android Nougat 7.0
The rumored Gionee A1 is supposed to be running on the latest Android Nougat, 7.0 version, overlaid by the company’s software, Amigo OS 4.0.
Camera and Others
As for the camera specifications of the Gionee A1, it will come with a selfie camera of 16 MP having LED flash. The primary camera or the rear camera has a resolution of 13 MP, also with LED flash feature. There is also a fingerprint sensor that is embedded on the front of the phone at its home button. The phone also offers support for an IR remote controlling feature.
The battery on the Gionee A1 is powered at 4010 mAh and it is combined with the 18W charger, thereby allowing quick charging.
There is no news at present regarding the launch date of the Gionee A1 or the price at which it will be available.
