The upcoming Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL smartphones have received approval from Bluetooth SIG body.
The Bluetooth certifications of these phones do not contain any information on their specs, but it does hint that the arrival of the Pixel 3a series is close at hand.
The Bluetooth SIG certifications of Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL mid-range phones reveal that they will carry support for Bluetooth 5.0. Also, these devices are preloaded with Android 9 Pie OS. The other details of the Pixel 3a duo have already surfaced through multiple leaks in the recent months.
Google will be kicking off its Google I/O event from May 7. It is expected that the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL handset will be made official on the said date. Previous reports have revealed that the Pixel 3a XL will have a 5.6-inch OLED display that produces 1080 x 2280 pixels whereas the Pixel 3a XL will be a larger device with a 6-inch OLED display that will offer 1080 x 2160 pixels.
Some rumors have claimed that the Pixel 3a XL will be a more powerful device with Kirin 710 SoC onboard. The Pixel 3a could be featuring the less powerful Snapdragon 670. Both phones are expected to come equipped with 4 GB of RAM. Also, these devices may arrive with internal storage of 64 GB.
The Pixel 3a series will carry support for eSIM and it is also rumored to arrive with Titan M security chip. These smartphones are also expected to arrive with Active Edge squeezable frames for summoning Google assistant. New pixel phones are rumored to feature 8-megapixel frontal cameras and 12-megapixel rear cameras. The Pixel 3a may have a 3,000 mAh battery whereas Pixel 3a XL may feature a slightly larger battery.
