Google Pixel 4 XL New Geekbench Listing Reveals 8 GB RAM Variant and Better Scores

A new Geekbench listing of the Google Pixel 4 XL has surfaced today with 8GB RAM and Android 10 OS.

While report surrounding the Pixel 4 series have revealed that the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL phones are equipped with 6 GB of RAM, the new listing of Pixel 4 XL on Geekbench confirms that it may come in 8 GB RAM variant.

The Pixel 4 XL’s new listing shows that it is running on Android 10. Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC powers the smartphone and clocks at a speed of 1.77 GHz. In the single-core test, it has scored of 2376 and it has reached 9045 in multi-core test of the benchmarking platform.

Is Google testing the 8 GB RAM variant of the Pixel 4 XL? The first three generations of Pixel phones have featured 4 GB of RAM and multiple reports and some Geekbench listings have suggested that the Pixel 4 series will be equipped with 6 GB of RAM.

Hence, it is surprising to see the newly listing of Pixel 4 XL on Geekbench with 8 GB of RAM. It is advisable to wait for further reports to know whether the smartphone will really feature 8 GB of RAM.

Rumors have it that the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will be equipped with 5.71-inch full HD and 6.3-inch quad HD OLED displays. The Pixel 4 will house a 2,800 mAh battery whereas the XL will be backed by a 3,700 mAh battery. Both phones may feature 12-megapixel + 16-megapixel dual camera system on the rear. Both phones may support Face ID and air gestures made possible through inclusion of Soli radar technology.

The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL phones will go official on October 9. As of this writing, there is no information available on the pricing of the Pixel 4 duo.
