GTA 6 leaked gameplay footage from an early build of the game shows a crawling feature that could be a part of the game.
The second trailer of Grand Theft Auto 6, which was released around a month ago, has garnered close to 120 million views till date. While many believed Rockstar Games would not be releasing a second trailer, the launch of this new trailer put all the speculations to rest.
One of the major reasons behind the studio deciding to launch a second trailer for the game, of course, had to do with the fact that the release of the game has now been pushed to next year. Initially slated for a fall 2025 release, GTA 6 will now be launched on 26 May 2026.
Since there is still some time for GTA 6 to be out, a section of fans has been of the opinion that Rockstar should release a third trailer for the game. One still knows very little about the game. The arrival of a third trailer, therefore, would enable us to get some more details on the game. However, before a third trailer could come about, GTA 6 leaked gameplay footage seems to have emerged.

A certain gameplay leak features Jason, one of the two protagonists in the game, crawling across the ground. While this could be a standard feature in certain franchises, this is the first time one is witnessing something of this sort in a GTA game.
In the last few years, one saw the GTA series trying to implement stealth missions. The franchise, however, could not achieve a lot of success with it. While GTA is not a stealth series, fans have been wanting to see the ability to crawl being implemented in GTA 6. Such features should also contribute to making stealth missions operate more smoothly.
As per the X profile GTA 6 Countdown, “leaked gameplay of the prone ability in GTA VI that was allegedly cut from the final game”.

The aforementioned clip seems to be from an early build of the game.
In this clip, the crawling feature looks quite appealing. If the developers decide to remove this feature from the final version of the game, it would end up hurting a lot of fans.
