Honor 8X Master Lu Listing Confirms Snapdragon 660 SoC


Honor has started teasing the upcoming Honor 8X smartphone that is expected to come equipped with a massive screen of 7.12 inches. The handset has a model number of ARE-AL00.

Earlier this month, the entire specifications of the smartphone was revealed through its TENAA listing. Today, the smartphone has surfaced on Master Lu, a benchmarking platform from China to confirm some of its key specifications.

The above image reveals that the Honor 8X with model number ARE-AL00 has recorded a benchmarking score of 123,919 Master Lu. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core chipset with Kryo 260 and Adreno 512 graphics. This confirms that the smartphone will be fueled by Snapdragon 660 SoC. The handset will be featuring 4 GB of RAM to assist the SD660 chip. It is speculated that there could be another version of the phone featuring Snapdragon 636 SoC.

For photography, the back panel of the Honor 8X will be fitted with 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup and it will be featuring a front-facing camera of 8-megapixel. The exact size of the display of Honor 8X does not appear in Master Lu listing. However, it confirms that the screen will be supporting Full HD+ resolution of 2244 x 1080 pixels. The TENAA images of the phone have revealed that its massive display will be featuring a waterdrop notch. According to TENAA, the Honor 8X will be packed with a massive battery of 4,900mAh capacity. Rumors have it that it could be equipped with liquid cooling technology like Honor Note 10 smartphone.
