Huawei Honor 8C smartphone is slated to go official in China on October 11. The handset is now available for pre-booking on the official VMall store.
Earlier this month, TENAA had certified BKK-AL00, BKK-AL10 and BKK-TL00 variants of the Honor 8C smartphone. Today, a new variant of the phone with a model number of BKK-L21 has been approved by Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) which indicates that the smartphone will be soon heading to European markets.
The BKK-L21 Honor 8C model has been not only certified by EEC, it has been also spotted on the website of Bluetooth SIG in the recent past. The Bluetooth SIG body has also certified all the aforementioned Honor 8C models that have received approval from TENAA.
The Honor 8C features a 6.26-inch IPS LCD notched screen with HD+ resolution. It will be the first phone ever to be fueled by the new Snapdragon 632 chipset. It includes a big battery of 4,000 mAh capacity. The handset will be arriving in China in 32 GB and 64 GB storage variants. Both models include 4 GB of RAM. It is loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo OS that is overlaid with EMUI 8.2. For photography, it features 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup and a front-facing shooter of 8-megapixel.
The Huawei Honor 8C is expected to arrive in color like black, blue, gold and purple in the home country. There is no confirmation on the color variants of the Honor 8C for the European markets. The handset is rumored to land in China with a starting price of around 999 Yuan ($145).
