About one week ago, leaks came in giving us an early look at the specs and features that could ship with the Huawei P10 flagship.
The leaked images did not include a vast range of specs and features for the phone, but it only gave us a small package of what to expect. For starters, there were some details on the cameras of the Huawei P10 and as it is, the dual-lens setup is still on. Like the P10, this camera will be Leica-branded, but the specs are not yet known. The phone will have a rear-facing fingerprint scanner alongside a physical home button, something quite a number of OEMs will be getting rid of this 2017, including Samsung.
A separate report also added that the upcoming Huawei P10 will keep the same screen size as its predecessor. This means a 5.2-inch display is in the pumps, same as the P10 Lite. Apparently, the P10 Plus will come with a larger 5.5-inch screen, just like it happened last year. However, this time the larger model gets a 2K resolution as opposed to the former’s 1080p resolution. Last year’s P9 used an LCD screen while the P9 Plus used a Super AMOLED screen. This could also be the case this year.
Inside the Huawei P10, it is possible that there will be a Kirin 960 running the show, same chipset as what the Huawei Mate 9 boasts. This is the same chipset that will power the P10 Plus, but the P10 Lite could get a Kirin 655 processor, which will be an obvious upgrade over the Kirin 650 used in the P9 Lite.

In a new set of leaks, the Huawei P10 will come with a RAM of 4GB and a storage of 64GB. Last year’s P9 had two variants of 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB, but there is no word on whether there will be a repeat of this configurations. As for the P10 Plus, the RAM jumps to 6GB and storage is also doubled to 128GB. These two models will come in four color variants of blue, black, gold and silver. On the contrary, the P10 Lite will ship in gold, rose gold, white and black color variants. Being a light variant of the P10, the P10 Lite gets 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
As for the pricing, the entry-level Huawei P10 Lite will cost 260 euros. On the other hand, the P10 will set you back 550 euros while the high-end P10 Plus will demand 730 euros to take it off the shelves. For now, prices in other markets, including the U.S., are still missing, but the only change in pricing when compared to Europe could be the currency used and not the figures.
