Huawei P10 Teased in Gold, Green and Blue Color Variants

Huawei P10

The Huawei P10 is all but set to be launched at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, which kicks off in less than two weeks.

Details about the P10 have been all over for months now, but as usual, not everything that is out there is to be believed. Huawei has only confirmed that the P10 will be unveiled at the MWC, but there are no further details about what this phone will look like or even the specs. But as noted, details of this phone have been flying around for quite some time and in fact, the latest is a teaser from the Chinese OEM with respect to the color variants of the flagship.

The company has gone to its Twitter account to tease the Huawei P10, which is set to come in three color variants. Apparently, the GIF shows off a gold color variant, a blue variant and as for the third, there should be a debate as to whether that is green or something close to green. There have been talks of a purple color variant in the works, but it appears that this is not part of the P10.

There are no specs that this teaser reveals, but from previous rumors, we expect the Huawei P10 smartphone to share the same screen specs as its predecessor – Huawei P9. This means you get a 5.2-inch Full HD display panel with a flat screen design, but the bezels should be slightly thinner. There’s a physical home button on the front panel on which you find the fingerprint scanner, which is a change from last year’s rear-mounted fingerprint scanner with no physical home button. The Leica cameras should be retained and so should the dual-lens setup and Android 7.0 Nougat will power the phone out of the box.

As for the processor, chances are high that the Huawei P10 will also share the same Kirin 960 SoC with the Huawei Mate 9. 4GB and 6GB RAM variants have been touted alongside 64GB and 128GB of expandable storage, respectively, but we still haven’t heard about the battery capacity. Given that the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will be announced in less than two weeks, we should be able to know more details sooner than later. Keep following us!
