Huawei Y6 (2019) UAProf Reveals 19.5:9 Display Resolution, Android 9 Pie and More

The UAProf documents of Huawei Y6 (2019) with model numbers MRD-LX1, MRD-LX2 and MRD-LX3 have surfaced to reveal key details of the smartphone.

The aspect ratio of 19.5:9 for Huawei Y6 (2019) reveals that it could be featuring a waterdrop notch display. Also, the handset will be loaded with the latest Android 9.0 Pie.

Earlier this month, the model number MRD-LX1F was spotted with Huawei Y6 (2019) moniker on the database of Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Russian authority. Through User Agent Profile documents, it is clear that these model numbers MRD-LX1, MRD-LX2 and MRD-LX3 belong to the Huawei Y6 (2019).

As it can be seen in the UAprof screenshot, the Huawei Y6 (2019) carries support for HD+ resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels. The handset will be offering an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. In addition to this, it supports Bluetooth version 4.2 as seen from UAprof files.

Recently, the Honor 8A smartphone was spotted with the same pixel resolution of 1560 x 720p on TENAA. It was revealed through the TENAA images that it will be equipped with a waterdrop notch screen. Hence, it can be speculated that the Huawei Y6 (2019) will have the same kind of display. However, the exact display size of the Y6 (2019) is not known. The handset will come preloaded with Android 9.0 Pie OS.

Through China Compulsory Certificate (CCC) of the handset, it has been revealed that Y6 2019 will support 5W charging. This suggests that it will be a low-end phone its predecessor, Huawei Y6 (2018), which came with a 5.7-inch display that supported HD+ resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels.

The Y6 (2019) may feature a larger display than its successor. What’s certain is that it will offer larger screen space than the 18:9 display of the predecessor model. The launch date of the Y6 (2019) is still under the wraps. The Y6 (2018) was unveiled in May 2018 and it is likely that the successor may go official in Q2 2019.
