Apple is gearing up for its annual launch of the iPhone 16 series on September 9, 2024, which is just a little more than a week from now.
This will be followed by the release of the iPhone 17 series in 2025. With more than a year to go, renowned tech analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has shared some interesting insights and details about the iPhone 17 Pro Max on the popular X platform. This will be the most expensive and premium handset in the series.

Exclusive Features of iPhone17 Pro Max
According to the details shared by Kuo, the iPhone 17 Pro Max will house 12 GB RAM under the hood. This will be the only smartphone in this series with so much RAM. The other handsets like the ultra-thin iPhone, iPhone SE4, iPhone 17, and iPhone 17 Pro will have 8 GB RAM.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max will also be the only handset in the series to house an upgraded cooling system featuring graphite sheets and vapor chamber technology. This will ensure that the smartphone has enhanced heat dissipation compared to other handsets in the series.
A key highlight that also contributes to the major selling point of the iPhone 17 Pro Max is its AI capabilities. This is achieved by the AI features added by Apple to iOS 18 which Apple will release next month.

According to earlier leaks about the iPhone 17 series lineup, the upgrades include a six-piece lens and a 24 MP front camera. Based on the latest details put forward by Kuo, the ultra-thin iPhone that is speculated to be released along with the iPhone 17 series will be called the iPhone 17 Slim or iPhone Air. It is expected to be a replacement for the iPhone 17 Plus.
