It was recently reported that Lenovo will no longer be releasing new phones under the ZUK brand, instead, more focus will head Motorola’s way as far as flagships are concerned.
As if completely doing away with the ZUK brand, the company’s 2016 flagship, Lenovo Z2 Plus, has been discounted by a massive 45% on Amazon India. This is huge for a phone that has just been around a year and packs high-end specs and features as those you’d find in a Galaxy S7, S7 Edge or any other flagship smartphone from 2016.
As at the time of this writing, the Lenovo Z2 Plus can be yours for as little as Rs 10,999. Usually, the phone trades at Rs 19,999 and simple math will tell you that you save an impressive Rs 9,000. This is a cool price for folks in India as it means they save up to 45% off the normal price.
Just so you know, the Lenovo Z2 Plus has two storage variants of 32GB and 64GB. The price in question here is for the latter variant, but if you are okay with a 32GB variant, you also get a discount of 44%, which means you save an impressive Rs 8,000 by paying Rs 9,999 for this phone. Other specs remain unchanged, among them a 5-inch LCD screen with a 1080p resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC paired with 3GB RAM and a massive 3500mAH battery unit with support for fast charging.
The software on board is Android Marshmallow, but the Lenovo Z2 Plus has already received the Nougat treat in India. For the cameras, you get a 13MP lens on the back with hybrid autofocus, auto-HDR, 4K video recording and live filters. The front has an 8MP shooter for selfies.
