It has been in the rumors that LG will be announcing about five phones at the CES 2017. Well, the event is already here and as promised, LG has not disappointed at all.

There are four new phones in the LG K series and a brand new LG Stylus 3. None of these five phones will be posing as a high-end offering, instead, all of them are meant for the midrange family, but the Stylus 3 is actually the most powerful of the quintet.

The lowest-end LG K3 has the smallest display screen of 4.5 inches with a similar resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. Under the hood, the K3 has a Snapdragon 210 SoC that is paired with a RAM of 1GB and internal storage of 8GB. Of course, this should be supported by a microSD card port. The shooter on the back has a 5MP lens while the battery to keep it alive stands at 2100mAh. Android Marshmallow powers the LG K3 out of the box. You can have the phone in a single color option – black.

The LG K4 has a slightly larger screen size of 5 inches, but it keeps the same resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, making it less sharp than the LG K3. Like the latter, the former also gets the same Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor that is paired with the same 1GB RAM and 8GB of expandable storage. You also get the same camera specs and Android Marshmallow out of the box. From the look of things, the only major difference here is the display screen size. You also get an additional Titan color variant to add to the black option.

Jumping up the list you find the LG K8, a phone that keeps the same screen size as the LG K4, but ups the resolution to 720p. You also get an upgraded Snapdragon 425 processor that is paired with a RAM of 1.5GB and 16GB of expandable storage. Unlike the LG K3 and K4, you get Android Nougat out of the box and to keep the phone alive is a decent 2500mAh battery unit. On the back of the LG K8 is a decent 13MP snapper and there are more color options available – silver, gold, dark blue and titan.

The high-end model of the LG K series is the LG K10. The phone comes with a slightly larger screen size of 5.3 inches but keeps the same 720p resolution you find on the LG K8. The processor is also the same but the RAM is upped to 2GB alongside two storage options of 16GB and 32GB. Both units have room for microSD card storage. Like the K8, the LK K10 also ships with Android 7.0 Nougat, but the battery unit is the largest at 2800mAh alongside a fingerprint scanner. You can have the LG K10 in black, gold and titan color variants.

On top of the table is the LG Stylus 3 – a phone that comes with the largest screen size of the quintet, featuring a 5.7-inch 720p screen while under the hood, it ships with MediaTek’s MT6750 SoC. This is paired with a RAM of 3GB while the storage capacity stands at 32GB. The battery unit has a total of 3200mAh and it is removable. Like the LG K10, the Stylus 3 comes with a 13MP snapper on the back alongside the new Android Nougat OS out of the box.

Like the name suggests, the LG Stylus 3 packs a stylus pen that can mean it works as a perfect replacement for the stylus-obsessed users of the dead Galaxy Note 7. The phone is available in two color variants of titan and pink gold.

As for the availability and pricing details, we should get to them very soon. Keep following and we’ll let you know when we have these details.
