LG V20 Coming this September with Android 7.0 Nougat

LG V10, LG V20 Rumors

Many LG fans preferred buying the LG V10 to the supposed flagship LG G4, all of which were released last year. While both handsets are incredible, you will enjoy the former’s amazing display quality as well as specs and features as compared to the latter.

Now, to pick up from where it left off things with the V10, the South Korean company is now confident that a new LG V20 will be in the market this September. This is great news for anyone who wants a fresh look at what the LG V series has to give, especially since it will possibly be the first (or among the first) handset to come powered by the newest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

This further bolsters the recent revelation that Android 7.0 Nougat could indeed be released this August. But it means a lot for LG given that the G5 has had mixed performances in the smartphone market since its arrival, despite the fact that the handset comes with a unique modular design, which is something that is only matched by the new Motorola Moto Z series.

LG is promising a lot with the new LG V20 handset. Other than Android 7.0 Nougat, the company says that the V10 successor will bring a new standard for the flagship handsets thanks to its enhanced multimedia capabilities. While the LG V10 came in with 32-bit DAC, the upcoming LG V20 will include an inbuilt Hi-Fi 32-bit DAC, a move that will see great sound quality coming from this device.

Even though the company has confirmed that a new LG V20 will be unveiled this September, it did not go into many other details about the phone. Still, with last year’s LG V10 featuring specs such as a unique display setup that includes a primary 5.7-inch IPS LCD display screen with 1440 by 2560 pixels resolution and a secondary 2.1-inch display screen with 160 by 1040 pixels resolution, a flagship Snapdragon 808 SoC (LG skipped the Snapdragon 810 in 2015 due to its overheating issues), a RAM of 4GB, 16MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, OIS and LED flash, a 5MP Duo front camera with f/2.2 aperture, fingerprint scanner and a battery unit of 3000mAh, just to mention a few; the upcoming LG V20 is expected to be a monster of a smartphone that will for sure set the standards for 2016 premium smartphones.
