Meet the $1899 iPhone 7 Plus Retro Edition by Colorware – An Amazing Vintage Mac Custom Paint Touch

iPhone 7 Plus Retro Edition

It is not the first time that Colorware is coming in with a retro-style Mac paint job on Apple devices, but it is the first time the iPhone 7 Plus Retro Edition will be making its way to the smartphone market.

If you are one really huge Apple fan, this new model is just what you need, but you might want to do it quickly because Colorware will only be producing a limited number of the said iPhone 7 Plus Retro Edition units. Like expected, the phone is quite costly, coming in at a whopping $1899, twice as much as the high-end 256GB variant of the standard iPhone 7 Plus, which costs $969.

The company’s retro Mac rendition of the phablet iPhone 7 Plus still carries the iconic Apple logo on the back panel. The phone gets a beige paint job that is beautifully done and you’ll notice nicely brushed stripes on the sides that are in gray. For sure, these are indeed vintage and they should give you remind you something about the old Macintosh systems.

According to Colorware, the new iPhone 7 Plus Retro Edition has been taken through intensive processes to ensure that it’s the best in design. The company mentions disassembly, cleaning, masking, painting and thorough inspection as some of the things the phone goes through on its way to the real world. Apparently, the company also intends to assign certain numbers to the first 25 units of the iPhone 7 Plus Retro Edition.

As noted earlier, Colorware will only be producing limited units of this phone and it will cost you a massive $1899 to own one. This gives you the 256GB variant, but the rest of the specs and features remain unchanged. The phone will reportedly take 2-3 weeks for international shipping and it comes as an unlocked model.
