Microsoft Surface Pro 5 Updates, Specs and Price Rumors Ahead of Oct. 26 Event

There is no doubt that the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is easily the most desirable device you can get from a Microsoft Store as far as Windows tablets are concerned.

There is talk of a Microsoft Surface Pro 5 in the making, however, whether or not the Redmond Company will be releasing this fifth-gen tablet anytime soon is still anyone’s guess. Given that the company is set to hold an event on October 26th, rumors have started building up with respect to the Surface Pro 5.

Of course, it is hard to say whether there will be a Surface Pro 5 announced at this event, especially since Microsoft calls it a Windows 10 event. The uncertainties surrounding the event and what could possibly be launched have led us to a new discovery about the hardware devices to be unveiled by the company in the coming months.

Previously, all eyes had shifted to 2017 as far as the Surface Pro 5 is concerned, however, new images coming in are showing something different. Apparently, Microsoft may unveil at least one variant of the Surface Pro 5 at the upcoming Windows 10 event on October 26th. In an image leaked by a developer who somehow has had access to the company’s building 88, Microsoft has plans to unveil three devices in 2017 as well as another one this 2016. Keep in mind that these are only placeholders for the said devices, but the fact that there is a “coming soon” tag on the same could be enough to justify this claim.

Surface Pro 5

While the launch of a Surface Pro 5 this coming week is still a huge speculation, one thing that you shouldn’t expect to see is a Surface Phone. This device has been in the rumor mills for quite some time now, but this event might have little to showcase in terms of Microsoft hardware.

Despite all this, the Surface Pro 5 is expected to be here in Spring of 2017. This could accompany the launch of the second major Windows 10 Redstone 2 update.
