There are some common problems related to the Moto G4 and here are some workarounds to these issues.
Great Smartphones
The Moto G4 and G4 Plus are two of the budget phones in the Android space. Both these phones are reigning supreme in the market, with large displays and excellent camera specs. The battery life is decent and they offer a great Android experience to users. The G4 Plus is slightly more expensive at an additional $50, but it is worth the extra price.
Flaws and Solutions
However, both these smart devices are not without their flaws. There are many forums where comments have been made regarding the common issues and problems faced by users attempting to find a solution to fix the same. Here are some times to get around these issues. The internals of both the G4 and the G4 Plus are almost identical, so it is not surprising that both the phones suffer from common complaints.
Overheating Problems
This can happen particularly during gaming sessions on the G4. It has also been noted in the G4 Plus in some cases, where users connected it to using the camera for recording videos.
Most phones heat up while playing an intensive game or recording videos or even while charging the device. However, if the performance of the phone is affected, the problem needs resolution. Users can give the phone a break from time to time. Cases can be removed. Do not use the phone while it is plugged in. In addition, avoid the Turbo charger and use the regular one. Keep the phone out of sunlight and hot surroundings. A Factory reset could also solve the problem.
Touches Lag
Users have complained that there is a severe lag on some touches. In addition, there is a problem of ghost touches, where the notifications come down automatically or they are unable to attend a call.
The workaround for this problem is to avoid using the phone while it is charging. You can also try to change the cable or the charger.
App or Game Crashing
A few users of the G4 and the G4 Plus have noted regular crashing of specific application or games. Users can try turning the phone off. The problem could also be due to the microSD card on the device and its formatting.
Display shows Yellow Tint
Some users have noticed a yellow tint on their device display. Go to Settings and Display and then access Color mode to change the settings. There are also apps, such as the Screen Adjuster Free, which can be used for altering colors.
Problem with Headphones
Another problem discussed is that the headphones don’t work properly, with sound being emitted from only one side. Users can check whether the headphones are plugged in properly and check out to see that nothing is stuck in the port. Hold the Power button to restart the device. They can also check out the headphones on another device to find out where the problem lies. Third party apps could also be the cause of the problem.
