After Moto G6 Plus recently appeared in the NCC listing, it’s now the turn of Moto G6.
In addition to clearing NCC, the Taiwanese certification website, Moto G6 has also passed both US and Chinese certification sites, namely FCC and TENAA respectively.
The device has appeared in FCC under multiple model numbers (XT1925-1/2/3/4/5/6/7/12/13/DL) and multiple FCC IDs for different regions.
It’s evident from the NCC listing that Moto G6 gets the model number XT1925-7.
In TENAA listing, the model number appears to be XT1925-10.
Moto G6 Hardware Specifications
Dimensions of the phone are 154.5mm x 72.2mm x 8.3mm. Screen size is 5.7 inches.
It can be expected to be shipped with Android Oreo 8.0 OS out of the box though we may have to wait to confirm this.
Storage and Battery
The Dual SIM phone comes in 2 variants – 3GB RAM + 32GB Storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB Storage. Not all regions would get both 3GB and 4GB variants. The countries that would get both models include US, India and Asia Pacific Countries including Australia, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia and Thailand.
Both TENAA and FCC listings have both confirmed the battery to be 3000 mAh.
Dual Rear Cameras, Headset and NFC
From the TENAA screenshots, it’s clear that Moto G6 has Dual rear cameras. From FCC listing, the front camera is of 8MP in US, LATAM, Brazil and EMEA regions and 16MP camera in APAC and India.
Similarly, there’s headset support only in the APAC, India, Brazil, France and the Middle Eastern countries.
NFC support is only on devices that ship to APAC and EMEA regions.
Moto G6 Features and Pricing
More details have been allegedly revealed from an Amazon listing. This indicates that the display could be Full HD+ with 2160×1080 resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The rear cameras have 12MP and 5MP resolutions.
Other features listed include 3D glass back, 2018 Moto Voice and Fingerprint sensor to unlock. However, it’s worth remembering that these could be the specs only for the UK region and there might be slight changes in other regions.
The pricing mentioned was £239, which roughly translates to $340.
