A refreshed version of the Apple iPhone SE, the smaller and the cheaper version of the flagship device is expected to get launched in early 2018.

A surprising move is that the company plans to launch it in India first, an emerging market where Android dominates an entire population of over a billion people.

The smartphone that changed the way people communicate and compute, iPhone was launched 10 years ago in a grand fashion by Steve Jobs. Commemorating the big event, the manufacturer is gearing up to launch special edition variants of iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, SE edition as well as the upcoming flagship models iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. Amidst all this, it has also been confirmed that the company is really interested in introducing a new SE model. The phone features a small 4-inch display but is easily one of the smallest and most powerful devices you could get your hands on.

Reports claim that the next gen iPhone SE will be launched in India first before it is rolled out to other regions. A reason that Apple made this decision could be due to the fact that they now make phones in India which reduces the cost of an Apple device for the regional buyers as well as reduces production cost, making it easier to export and sell them at lower rates across the globe. The news comes from a channel named Focus Taiwan, located in Taiwan which claimed that Apple is extremely interested in making India their primary market now after saturating the Western countries.

While Samsung did a lot of innovative stuff in their own smartphone, people expect Apple to go even further and provide something mindblowing. It is to be seen whether they would come up with kickass features like wireless charging and touch sensors built on the screen.
