OnePlus 3T is No Longer Exclusive to Amazon India

OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T

OnePlus 3T has gone down in history as the best and most affordable flagship in 2016, but one thing that keeps pulling back the OEM is the availability of its devices.

Since its debut into the smartphone market, OnePlus has always sold its devices via the internet. The company operates an online store where fans can buy these devices, however, the story has been a little different in India. For the past two years, those in the Indian market who wished to purchase a OnePlus phone, including the latest OnePlus 3T, were limited to only one retailer – Amazon India.

Of course, this must have been a barrier for some, but things are now taking a different turn as the company has now opened OnePlus 3T purchases via its own online store. There’s still no change in the price of the phone, which means you still need to pay Rs 29,999 for the entry-level variant while the high-end 128GB model is still priced at Rs 34,999.

OnePlus 3T

In case you are still lost, this is the new OnePlus India online store and to get you started, buying a OnePlus 3T from the store will earn you a free protective case for the same phone. With this, you will be sure that your 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED screen won’t be easily damaged and so will the entire body. The phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor that is paired with an Adreno 530 GPU.

Unlike other 2016 flagships, the OnePlus 3T has a massive 6GB RAM and as noted earlier, you get two storage options of 64GB and 128GB – there’s no microSD card slot. Both cameras have 16MP lenses and to keep it alive is a decent 3400mAh battery. Other extras include a USB-C port, NFC, fingerprint scanner, fast charging technology as well as a ready update to Android 7.1.1 Nougat, although this one is still in beta. For a stable one, you’ll have to go for Android 7.0 Nougat.
