Following the launch of the OnePlus Pad Pro in China, OnePlus has now shifted its focus to working on the base variant of the tablet, the OnePlus Pad, for the home market.
A recent leak of the OnePlus Pad now reveals the possible key specifications of the upcoming device.
Expected OnePlus Pad Specifications
As is almost always the case, tipster Digital Chat Station has taken to his Weibo handle to post the likely specifications of the tablet.
Going by the leak, the device will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset under its hood. It is still unclear what the RAM and storage options would be.

For the display, the Pad will have an LCD panel of 11.6 inches size. The display will support a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a resolution of 2800 x 2000.
The tablet will draw its juice from a battery with a 9,520 mAh capacity. This battery will feature fast charging support of 67 W.
In the camera department, the device will have a camera on the back panel as well as a snapper on the front. Both cameras will support a resolution of 8 MP.

Although the leak does not explicitly say so, the specifications mentioned above match that of the Oppo Pad 3 that launched in China in late November. Hence, it is likely that the new tablet will be a rebranding of the Oppo tablet. However, as OnePlus has not revealed any specifications officially, it is too early to make an assumption in this regard.
OnePlus has also not made any official announcement about when it plans to launch the OnePlus Pad. It is worth noting that the manufacturer is organizing an event this month to launch the sub-flagship OnePlus Ace 5 series comprising the OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro. The manufacturer may launch the tablet along with the smartphones.
