OPPO is working towards releasing the OPPO A5 5G global variant.
Following this, the smartphone has been spotted on the Google Play Console listing. The listing reveals the front design and a partial set of key specifications of the handset, along with its name and model number CPH2735. Interestingly, the Chinese variant broke cover only a few months back in March 2025.

Going by the render displayed in the listing, the smartphone has prominent bezels on all sides.

The bezel at the bottom appears broader than on the other three sides. There is a punch-hole cutout at the top in the center of the display for the selfie camera. The power button and volume rocker are on the right side as usual.
The OPPO A5 5G will have an HD+ display. While the display size has not been revealed, the listing mentions that the handset will have a 720 x 1604 resolution and a 320 DPI pixel density.
Under the hood, the smartphone will house a Dimensity 6100+ processor from MediaTek. There will be a dedicated Mali G57 GPU. It will also be packed with 4 GB RAM and run on Android 15.
The above details reveal that the Chinese and global variants are different from each other. The Chinese variant has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor and at least 8 GB of RAM under the hood.

For the unversed, this variant also has 50 MP and 8 MP primary and secondary cameras, respectively, and draws its juice from a 6,500 mAh battery that supports 45 W fast charging.
The global OPPO A5 5G will arrive as an OPPO A3 5G successor. It is yet to be known if the handset will see the light of day in India like the A3 5G.
