Oppo is actively working on its next foldable smartphone, Oppo Find N5.
Information has arrived from various sources in the past of the upcoming Oppo Find N5 handset. A new leak has now emerged with a specific focus on the form factor and Apple Ecosystem compatibility of the handset.
Form Factor of Find N5
According to a post on the Chinese Weibo platform by tipster Smart Pikachu, the smartphone will have an improvised metal texture and will also have a lighter and slimmer design when compared to its Find N3 predecessor. The upcoming handset will have a thickness of only 9.x mm in the folded state. In contrast, the Find N3 weighs approximately 240 g and has a thickness of 11.7 mm when it is folded.
Apple Ecosystem Compatibility
The Oppo Find N5 is tipped to be compatible with Apple Ecosystem. This feature will make the smartphone an ideal option for iPhone users who would like to try their hands with a foldable handset especially as Apple does not have such a smartphone in its portfolio as of now.
Other Rumored Oppo N5 Specifications
The Find N5 will house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor that supports the manufacturer’s wireless magnetic ecosystem. Its internal screen is bound to have a 2K+ resolution.

The three shooters are a main camera, a telephoto periscope lens with support for 3x optical zoom, and an ultra-wide snapper. The smartphone will be powered by a 5,700 mAh battery.
The Oppo Find N5 is expected to be launched in the first half of 2025 along with the Vivo X Fold 4 featuring the same processor. There are talks that the release can be expected in the first quarter itself. The handset may be rebranded as OnePlus Open 2 for the US, European, and Indian markets although this cannot be ascertained for now.
