As Oppo plans to launch its Oppo Find X8 in October, some images of a supposedly live working prototype have been leaked.
The prototype image is shown encased in a huge case indicating that the Oppo Find X8 smartphone has not yet been released.
Dynamic Island
In the latest image leak, it is obvious that Oppo has tried to adopt the Dynamic Island concept followed by Apple for its Find X8. Interestingly, this does not seem to be the only aspect that the handset is taking credit from the iPhone 16 series that will be released shortly. The Find X8 will also use the Camera Control technique adopted in the upcoming iPhone family.
Other Oppo Find X8 Specifications
Popular tipster Digital Chat Station has taken to the Chinese Weibo platform to share some details of what he feels can be expected in the Find X8. His leaks are usually reliable and if they are anything to go by, you can hope to find at least some if not all of them in the handset when it is finally released.

The Find X8 is slated to come in black, white, and blue color options. The smartphone will come with an IP 68/69 rating and encompass virtual solid-state buttons. As for the screen, the handset is slated to have a 6.5- or 6.6-inch flat OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display may also include an optical fingerprint sensor.
In the camera department, the Find X8 will sport a three-camera setup at the back. These will include a primary 50MP camera with OIS support and a 50MP ultra-wide lens along with a telephoto periscope camera that supports 3x optical zoom. The Dynamic Island will be found for the first time in this Oppo handset.
There may be more than one Oppo Find X8 variant. One of them will offer 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. All variants will feature Android 15 and ColorOS 15 pre-installed. The handset will draw its power from a 5,600 mAh battery with 80 W or 100 W rapid charging support.
