Oppo Find X8 Ultra Anticipated to Incorporate Sony Sensors for 3x and 6x Telephoto Snappers

The top-end Oppo Find X8 Ultra smartphone of the Find X8 lineup has been in the news lately with various specifications about the same.

One of the key highlights of the handset will be its two telephoto snappers on the back panel like its predecessor. The internal schematics of the Oppo Find X7 Ultra and Find X8 Ultra show that the cameras will feature identical placements in both cases with the only difference being the size of the snappers. However, the cameras of the successor will be visibly bigger. A new leak now points out the zoom capabilities of the smartphone.

Going by the post on Weibo by Digital Chat Station, the Find X8 Ultra will have a 50 MP resolution for each of the telephoto cameras. However, while one of the cameras will offer 3x zoom, the other shooter will support 6x zoom.

The telephoto camera with 3x zoom will encompass a Sony IMX906 sensor with a size of 1/1.56 inch. On the other hand, the snapper with 6x zoom will feature a Sony IMX882 sensor with 1/1.953-inch size.

Other Expected Specifications

The Find X8 Ultra will have a BOE X2 LTPO OLED screen of 6.82 inches size with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 2K+ resolution. This is similar to the display that is featured in the OnePlus 13.

The handset will draw its juice from a 6,000 mAh battery using an 80 W adapter. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor in contrast to the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor opted by the manufacturer for other smartphones in the series.

The Find X8 Ultra is also likely to feature IP 69 and IP 68 ratings for protection against water and dust.
