The Oppo Find X8S smartphone is claimed to be one of the various flagships that Oppo has up its sleeve for launch in the first half of the next year.
Although there is a reasonably long time before the handset is released, new leaks have now surfaced revealing its processor and screen size.
Processor and Screen Size
According to the Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station, the Find X8S will be launched after the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, Find X8 Mini, and Find N5. Although the leak mentions the term ‘series’, it is not clear how many and what smartphones will be available in the lineup.

A post on the popular X platform mentions that the Oppo Find X8S will encompass a 6.6-inch screen and the upcoming Dimensity 9400+ processor under its hood.

No other details of the Oppo Find X8S are available at the moment. However, as the manufacturer usually uses the letter S in the model name to denote an incremental upgrade, the handset will likely be an upgrade over the recently launched Find X8 and imbibe most of its specifications.
Oppo Find X8 Specs
The Oppo Find X8 has a FHD+ 6.59-inch display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2760 x 1256. The smartphone will draw its juice from a 5490 mAh battery with 80 W charging support.

The handset is equipped with an octa-core Dimensity 9400 processor from MediaTek and an Immortalis G925 MC12 GPU. It has three cameras on the back, which are a wide-angle camera, an ultra-wide-angle camera, and a telephoto camera. Each of these cameras has a resolution of 50 MP while the selfie shooter has a resolution of 32 MP.
Oppo is known to adopt a biannual release cycle for its incremental upgrades. If the same trend continues, the Oppo Find X8S can be expected to break cover six months after the release of the Find X8. Hence, we can expect the smartphone to be launched in April 2025.
