The Oppo Find X9 series has been in the limelight for a while now.
Amidst the various speculations that have popped up, the product manager of the Find series has now stepped in to share some official insights about the base variant, the Oppo Find X9. He also clarified that a leaked render of the smartphone that started doing the rounds recently is not correct, as it is not how the handset would look.
Find X9 Confirmed Details
The details have been shared through a Weibo post by Zhou Yibao. The post primarily highlights the display, battery, and design of the Oppo Find X9.
The handset will have a flat display. In fact, the entire lineup will come with such displays as against last year’s series, where the Pro variant had a micro-quad curved screen.

The Find X9 will be powered by a huge glacier battery. However, he goes on to add that the massive battery size will not affect the design of the smartphone. The lens protrusion and body thickness are under control, resulting in a light and thin profile.
The handset will have an enhanced and premium look and feel over its predecessor. This will be achieved by a cold-sculpting process. Interestingly, one of the color options will indeed be titanium, just like the false render that did the rounds recently.
Other Expected Specs
The Find X9 will have a 6.59-inch LTPO OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. There will also be an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone will house a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and come with Android 16 layered with the brand’s ColorOS 16 preinstalled.
The handset, in collaboration with Hasselblad, will offer three 50 MP rear shooters that are a primary camera with OIS, an ultra-wide camera, and a periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. There will be a 50 MP front-facing camera.

The smartphone will be equipped with a 7,025 mAh battery supporting 80 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging.
The Oppo Find X9 will once again feature its Plus key with multiple functions. The standard and Pro variants in the lineup will launch later this year, while the remaining handsets will break cover next year.
